1 Ecology Courses
Ecology degrees teach students about how plants, animals, microbes and other forms of life interact with each other and with the world around them. These degrees begin by explaining the basics of all of the life sciences, and conveying a scientific way of viewing the world and the creatures in it.
Ecology degrees typically include wildlife conservation content, allowing students to understand both the causes and effects of climate change, deforestation and intensive land use. Many programs prepare students to seek out ways to combat these threats, to lessen the severity of their effects, or to protect the natural ecology from them.
