Course Outline

The degree is typically delivered over 16 months of full time study.

Core Modules Include:

  • Software Development in Business Environment – the testing, implementation, design, and analysis of software systems
  • Statistics and its Applications in Business – using the statistical techniques that are the foundation of data analysis
  • UI / UX Design and Quality Engineering – evaluating, prototyping and designing user interfaces for various purposes
  • Managing and Programming Databases – learning how to manage, implement, design and develop database systems for business and industry
  • Web, Mobile, and Cloud Application Development – developing hosted and cloud-based data structures and mobile apps
  • Business intelligence and Data Visualization – learning to find statistical patterns which can support strategic and tactical policy
  • Big Data and Information Technology Management – learning to use industry standard tools like strategy maps, CRM, ERP, etc, as well as new innovations
  • Data and Text Mining – combining algorithms, AI and db systems to analyse ‘big data’ more efficiently

Learning And Teaching

Entry & Credit

Applicants must typically have completed a BSc degree in a related field, or the international equivalent. Your cumulative marks should be 70% or better.

All classes are taught in English, and international students will be required to show proficiency in English by scoring well on an approved test.
